Comments:
Camp ground was not at all what was expected. We knew going in the camp site was brand new. We were told (4 weeks in advance) that the site should have grass by Labor Day. What a pleasant surprise to arrive and find an unlevel, weed infested, gravel / sand / dirt mixed camp site. Worst camp site ever. To add insult to injury, that camp ground is across the street from an active gun club where the constant rumblings of 50 caliber machine guns is the norm. The mosquitoes were precious as well. They were an inch long with stingers made of syringes. They were so bad the camp ground had to call in for spraying twice in one weekend. Would not recommend this campground in the near term. Did I mention that some of the site back up to a ravine with a 40 foot drop and the only thing holding back your 40 foot rig is some loose gravel?
