Short Summary
Comments:
I did not like this campground. I have stayed at many campgrounds and this was one of the worst. I felt like I was sleeping right on the road. The tent sites are not very private. I thought the sites were too close together to others. The man that ran the place was very rude. We came back from a long day of site seeing only to be yelled at all the way through the grounds about slowing down. We were not even speeding! Then he had his son (who is not old enough to be riding a motorized vehicle) chase us down on a golf cart (He was speeding through and everyone was looking at him). He starting yelling at us that we better obey the rules or else they are going to throw us out. I have never been treated this way in all my camping years! The grandfather came out of his camper and started screaming at us. My husband took my son fishing and he said that everyone that came through they were yelling at. Then the father and grandfather came back and reiterated what the son already said. At night when we were sitting around the fire the owner came back again and said he was just checking on us. I do not need to be babysitted when I am camping. They did not even take the trash from the barrels all weekend long. Everyone around us was complaining also. We could not get out of there fast enough.
