Short Summary
Nice but not rustic enough for us
Comments:
Overall this is a nice campground. Clean and well maintained. However I felt like I was camping in a suburban neighborhood. There were mostly seasonal sites complete with decks, sheds and a vast assortment of yard decorations giving it a tacky appearance. There are two nice pools which we never used. We opted for the small lake (really a pond) in the back of the property. It had a very nice beach area. This is great for kids as it is pretty shallow. Our site was in the area called "The field", an open area where boat trailers and a huge open trash dumpster are stored and can be easily seen. Not very scenic. The bathrooms were cleaned every day, a big plus. I will try to stick with more natural campgrounds like state parks and the like. But that's just my own personal preference.
