RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE!! |
Comments:
This is camping at its worse. DIRTY, DISGUSTING, RUN-DOWN. Showers were dirty and did not work, not to mention no hot water. I showered my kids at the faucet on our site. Five bathroom stalls wherein only two barely worked (do the math: two stalls for hundreds of people). Four sinks (two of which did not work). The pool was so DIRTY I did not let my kids go in b/c I was afraid they might catch an infection. The water slide is old and that pool is DIRTY DIRTY. To make matters worse at the time of check in (after driving 4hrs) I was told that I had no reservation for a site with water and electric and that besides there were no tents allowed on the site # the call center had given me. The manager (Amy) was so obnouxious, unpleasant and just plain nasty with the "I dont care attitute" - all she said was "what the call center tells you is not our problem we are fully booked! Since we had no choice (but to stay or drive back to NY) - we stayed. Only to find they were not fully booked - and we just took it upon ourselves and moved to site with water and electric. Not that they would have noticed anyway, as there is no organization whatsover in this "camping field". In addition to paying for using the run-down water slide, mini-golf, etc, we had to leave a deposit for an electric adapter for the electric outlet. The black lady at the check-in counter was very nice and understood our plea - but there was nothing she could do. Also the other girld at the counter tried to help us, only to be shouted-down by her dumb-ass manager, Amy. PLEASE CAMPERS - RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN -!!!! YOU WILL THANK ME FOR IT!!!!!
