Not all that it is cracked up to be. |
Comments: I have been a camper at Abnaki for a few years now. My family is seasonal there, this is the first year that I have heard so many people complain about the way the place is being run and that prices are crazy and there are a number of seasonals that are planning on this being thier last season. There were many upgrades promised to us in the beginning of the camping season and not one of them has been filled. We as seasonals asked for the bathrooms to be fixed and oh my goodness, there is still no running water in the faucets in them. We asked for a playground area for the kids-because when there is right now is two dangerous swings, a slide, and some thing I don't even know what it is. It is too bad that the new brother(Al) to take over this summer could not stand by his word and start making an effort to make the campers happy, at least Rob kept everyone happy and the campground was full. There has only been one weekend this summer where it was near full and you all guessed it it was the 4th of July. I am just very disappointed that Abnaki is not what we ever remember it being. We miss the old way.
