Paulette and I came to cotillion gardens for the summer and just feel in love with it. I hike and see trees that are so big I can not see the top of them and big enough to live in. across the river walk and into the park toward roaring camp railroad there is a tree with a small entry if you go in take a flashlight and see where someone cut a window and had a hole for his fire that he would build inside the huge redwood but today the redwood has closed the window and fire hole if you ever want to see what the inside of a living redwood looks like come to felton calif and say in cotillion gardens

This campground was one of the best I have ever stayed at. They have plenty to do for kids and everyone is so friendley and helpful. Their pool, clubhouse, park, basketball court and bathrooms are always very clean.

SKUNKS are a problem here!

This park could be very nice if it were managed better, and the SKUNKS were taken care of. The management was rude and unfriendly. Although the bathroom is clean, there is no soap provided for washing hands. The dish washing area was always dirty and clogged. The biggest problem was the skunks! They were out every night. On our last night we had two walk right into our campsite with us there. One actually sprayed our site. Luckily no one was hit directly, but our site still stunk when we left the next morning. When we commented on it, the managers just joked about the situation. I will not return, nor can I recommend this campground to anyone!
