Beach RV Park is in a lovely little area of Santa Cruz known as Live Oaks. It sits across from the Corcoran Lagoon just minutes from a beautiful white sand beach with a public parking area. On both sides of the beach are cliffs with beautiful homes and fantastic views of Monterey Bay. Dogs are welcome on the beach (on leash preferred, and please clean up after them). The surf here is gentle and fine for swimming, body surfing or boogie boards, along the cliff area is good for surfing. This is a fine family style beach. You can walk for miles in either direction along the sand to other parts of Santa Cruz. You can walk north all the way to the Santa Cruz Harbor and get a bite to eat, watch the sailboats and bay cruisers come and go, many evenings they have special entertainment at the Harbor. Heading south the other way and you can walk all the way to Capitola, if the tide is out(to Pleasure Point if the tide is in). Have a drink on the patio at Zelda’s or Beach City CafĂ© or sit on the sand and watch the seagulls and the surfers. Capitola has many days and evenings with interesting and entertaining things going on.

From Hwy 1 take the 41st Ave. exit. Head toward the beach, away from K-Mart. Go thru all the traffic signals, at first STOP SIGN, turn RIGHT. Past next two stop signs (we are 300 feet beyond the second stop sign). Look to the right, just after Cole's Barbecue on the left corner. Beach RV Park Santa Cruz is on the right just as you go down the little hill. If you go passed the lagoon and see the radio station, you've gone too far.

This place is not for seniors. There is no Disabled Parking and no guest parking. The bathrooms are filthy and when we asked about paper towels management said they don't provide paper towels because people steal them. The office was impossible to get into with a wheelchair and at night there is absolutely no lighting so it is dangerous and one could fall and hurt themselves easily. I tripped several times as a result of huge pot holes in the driveway. If you want to use the showers after dark it's very hard to see with no night lighting. There is also garbage area where you get to plug in to electrical ONLY and so it is cheap but you have to listen to people dumping garbage in the dumpster right outside your door sometimes at 4am. This place could really be nice if they got new management and made it nice. There are no regular office hours and we will not likely stay here again. The owners of this property should look into getting ADA requirements met before advertising that it is for seniors. I complained to the office and the managers Doug and Sandy are more concerned about getting away from Beach RV to their social activities than managing Beach RV. One word for this place = TERRIBLE!
