The Seattle/Tacoma KOA is located in a quiet valley adjacent to the Green River, yet only 20 minutes away from downtown Seattle. It’s a perfect base camp for your Pacific Northwest visit. Guided city tours departing from the kampground will take you to the most notable Seattle landmarks: Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Safeco Field, Boeing Museum of Flight, Pioneer Square and more.

Do not ever, I repeat: ever, stay there! It is next to a noisy road. Grounds are so tiny, there is barely enough room for a chair or two! RV's parked on the top of each other. Only after charging our credit card we were told that reserved tent ground was not available and were offered a very narrow RV, half size of a tent ground, space. No way we could fit our large tent on that tiny patch. We saw 4 unoccupied tent grounds but again, we were told they were “booked”. We HAD to leave 10 minutes later. In addition to avoiding chain restaurants we'll also be avoiding chain campgrounds.
