Nice little campground
July 2, 2012
Cedar Haven turned out to be a nice little campground. The owners of the campground had to have been the nicest people we have come across in our years of camping. They really made you feel welcome and seemed to value any input you had for them. We stayed for 2 nights and I have to say this is the quietest campground I have ever been in. The sound of the frogs in the pond at night just puts ya right to sleep. We had site #33 which we had looked at prior to booking and turned out to be a really nice site. The only down fall was due to the levelness of it we had to sort of cram everything towards the back portion of the site, but no big deal we made it work. The bath rooms and showers are just as clean and comfortable as your home shower and bathroom.
There is a large field for the kids to play in along with a small playground for the younger kids (2-4) and then there the game room with Pool, air hockey and foosball (all free). The only down fall to the pool table is its a little cramped in there and doesnt allow for full use of the pool cue on onside of the table. The pond is a neat touch to the place. The water is cold due to it being spring fed, but once youre in its really nice. The kids loved it because there are tad poles in there and they swim all around the edge of the pond. As for the squeamish you might be a little freaked out because there in there but once youre in you never see them and they dont come around you at all. All in all this was a really nice campground that we will be going back to someday.
