Reservation Info

Please call us at (207) 288-4808 to make a camping reservation. After talking to you, we’ll choose the best available campsite based on your needs and wants. A deposit is required for all reservations. 1 night: full camping fee; 2-4 nights: $40; 5-more: $80. We begin taking reservations for each camping season on the first business day after New Years Day. Call early for best availability.

Pet Policy

We do welcome your well behaved pet, but to ensure the enjoyment of all of our guests we require several things: that they be kept on a leash at all times, cleaned up after, and never left unattended. If you go out for the day, your dog needs to go as well. We can provide the name of a great local kennel that offers “day care” for your pet.

Campground Rules

We begin taking reservations for each camping season on the first business day after New Years Day. Call early for best availability. Even better! We are on the route for the Island Explorer. The bus will pick you up right by our swimming pool and will connect you to hundreds of places all over Mount Desert Island--all for free

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: In the event you need to cancel your reservation, please call us at least 2 days prior to your date of arrival. Your deposit will then be refunded minus a $5 service charge. We are sorry--there are no refunds for reservations for holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day).

Acadia is so beautiful. We loved being so close to the State Park. The campground was nice, the sites were large enough. We were very happy here.

Clean bathrooms, nice pool, crowded sites, no refunds

Date:

Our site was promoted as one of the more private ones, but our pop-up was only about 6 to 8 feet from our neighbor. We could hear them whispering so there was no privacy. The fireplace was out in front of the site in a field which made it hard to mind the campfire. The bathrooms are very well kept and the showers are above average in space, cleanliness and design (as campgrounds go). They have a nice pool near the office though we never used it. The location is very convenient to the main entrance to Acadia but we would have preferred to have stayed in the National Park campground. We had one night at Seawall campground which was lovely.
