great location to camp. Close to so many attractions and Galveston is only a short distance and very easy to get to without a lot of traffic.

The Galveston Bay RV Resort is in a very seculeded area. There is one way in and one way out. This cuts down on noise and traffic. There is water all around the camp sites and lots of birds to watch.
Very peaceful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the facilities are kept clean and useable at all times. There are showers, restrooms and a washateria located at the main office. All of these are in walkng distance from the campsites. Campsites are maintained by the staff and are easy to access with a trailer or RV.
They were putting in a bulk head and boat slips at the marina when we were there. The pool was going in after that. I look forward to going back this summer and seeing it completed.

Had stayed at this resort many times in the past 2 years for weekend getaways and a little fishing. Apparently, the park sold in May. Who'd have thought a nice clean park with clean restrooms and friendly staff could deteriorate in a few weeks? I won't be going back. On this visit, the bathroom facilities were FILTHY, staff was RUDE and the office smelled of stale cigarette smoke. My previous stay had just been in April and I couldn't believe the change for the worse. They must not have a person to clean, because I always felt comfortable using the bathhouse on my previous stays.....not this time. I won't be going back and really do hate that such a nice and friendly place has been reduced to this. So sad.......
