Great park, great residents, great managers

Date:

This is likely the best located park in the valley for shopping, eating out, things to see and do, and distance to sights. The managers are either the best, or among the best at any park we have ever stayed at. The only decision you have to make when you arise in the morning is which activity you are going to attend this day! About the best feature of this park is it's residents which really make the park the best. It is not the mosty modern park in the valley, but I'll wager it is the happiest and most busy (if you want to be). Come once and you will return!!

We are having a great stay

We love this park. Were here last year and came back again this year. There are lots of activities. Went to a big New Year's Eve dance, had Christmas Dinner prepared by the Resort for free. They have a pretty good library and do have free long distance calling to Canada. Our Wifi works good most of the time. We have had a few slow downs if everyone is on it but then we just go to one of their direct hookups. It is great. The pool is really nice. We have never used salt water pools before. The managers and all the workers are just great. The location is outstanding. Central to everything. We have zero complaints other than once in awhile someone does not clean up after they walk their dog but that happens everywhere. We have looked at other parks around and this one is the best bang for your buck if you want things to do, friendly people and lots of amenities.

Spent part of the winter at this park, and submitted a review earlier. Can't figure out what park the last reviewer was in. Much of what she said was totally unavailable. I also wonder if she realizes that many of the RVer's will not be back next year and that alot of the permanents are either moving or in the process of moving....primarily as a result of the manager and the owners of the park. No wonder they say there are new managers...good luck to them. These two parks were as Sunnygal says....very friendly....but alot of that has changed. We will not be back any time soon!!

Our stay was fun. This park is part of the larger park next door. They have two recreation halls. We have never stayed at a park with more activities. we actually stayed on the other side of the park but my husband used the woodshop on the Trade Winds side a lot and he asked me to mention it in the review because he says it is superior to any he has seen and used before. I rated the bathrooms an 8 because they were adding three more on the side we stayed on which made it a little inconvenient; but they were almost done when we left. We used the free long distance phone a lot to call our kids. I also like the library area. We tried both pools but liked the Trade Winds pool because it had more sun. We also liked the ramada with the little fountain. It was relaxing. We liked Shirley a lot who was there when we arrived. They got new managers a week before we left who were also very nice.

2006-2007, wonderful friendly park..2008-2009 amenities promised but not provided, evictions without cause, manager needs to be replaced

Owner hired a manager who rules by intimidation and has caused many long time residents to move out or wish they could. Pool was down for most of the winter. Free advertised phone was not working .Internet was down more than it was up. Great residents but poorly run park.

Park amenities are not nearly what is advertised! Free Wifi....not available much of the time; Free US-Canada phone...not available; salt water pool....closed for much of the season for repairs; spa.....not working; rec hall...limited activities and often moved across the street; friendliest park in the valley....although once true....most tenants not very happy folks due to the manager; many permanent models looking to leave the park; if you complain to the manager about the problems, you are told if your not happy to leave 'but' you will not get a refund!! Not about to return to this park!!!
