Liked this park it is a great place to stay. Had everything we needed they were very knowledgeable about this area. We talked to the neighbors while we were there, they like the park too.

This is a good location for us to stop. The park is conveniently close to town so we could run in and do some much needed shopping. We asked what there was to do around the area and they were very knowledgeable. We decided to stay another day and do some sight seeing. We travel through this area quite often it seems, and we will be making this park one of our favorite stops along the way. Everything is very well maintained with everything we need. We talked to some of the neighbors while we were here and they were very nice. They said this is a very safe place to stay and they love it here. This made us feel good about staying here and making this park a regular stop.

This place is not for construction crews, they do not stay at the office so you can get packages delivered, and when you arrive you have to call them, they need to stay at the office like 9 am to 6 p

I would not recommend this place for anyone. They expect you to stay in your rv and not walk your dog or even get packages mailed to you from your employer (like payroll). They are never at the office, you have to call them to come to the office and they are not very friendly either. They only take cash, NOT A GOOD THING!!!!! Since most people traveling don't carry alot of cash, mostly credit cards. DO NOT STAY FOR MORE THAN ONE NITE THEN YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FOLLOW ALL THEIR STUPID RULES, WHICH BY THE WAY FILLS UP A WHOLE PAGE OF YOUR BILL.

Response from Camelot RV Campground on June 9, 2012

PETS: We require pets to be on a leash, use the designated pets area and pick up after them, just like most parks do. At times we have to say something to people who are not responsible pet persons and it doesn’t always go well. PACKAGES AND MAIL: are delivered as we receive them. We have no reason to hold anyone’s mail or packages. Mail boxes are provided and packages are delivered or picked up when a person returns to the campground.
OFFICE HOURS: We have regularly scheduled hours at the office, however when people or workman arrive after hours they always have the option to call. We live on the premises.
FRIENDLY: We have no reason to be unfriendly unless a situation arises to cause problems that we must address.
PAYMENT METHODS: Three ways; cash, personal check or traveler checks. We offer a 20% discount and do not take credit cards.
RULES: Rules are for the safety, protection and well being of everyone. If problems or undesirable situations arise we have the right to remove or address that situation. Usually the person no liking the rules are the ones who want to break them, and they probably need to stay elsewhere so everyone else can enjoy their stay.
