Nice for kids

July 30, 2009

The sites we got for full hookup were across the road from the main camprgound area (???). The cost was only about $25 a day. More for the available activities.

The sites had no shade but were flat where we were located. Many permanent campers near us but were almost all nicely kept.

Great store except they have no Pepsi or Coke or much of any pop at all so bring your own. This is in banjo country so fill up your gas tank before you get there.

The game room is great. The gocarts were fun but not real fast and no bumping allowed.

The water slides are not near as long as the photos depicted in the various camping guides. They were fast but the wter stinks since it comes from the lake. Make sure you wash your swim wear out with soap or shampoo afterward or they be ruined.

The beach sand is the same type used to make cement, NOT beach sand at all. Its hard on the ole feet for sure.

Overall the kids loved it!
