PEACEFUL, clean and Quiet

O.K. I have family in Geneseo, rather than stay and crowd them, this little jewel was recommended to us by folks in town. It is situated on Highway 82 and the Hennepin canal. It has become one of my favorites for a peaceful, friendly visit. The facilities are quite clean, the husband and wife hosts are very easy going and take a genuine interest in children. Prices are fair, and people who camp there seem to be very considerate of each other. The bathrooms are not fancy, but they are clean and I have yet to get a cold shower(free BTW) I always request a site that borders on the canal. (so a few more mosquitos) These sites have a little more room to stretch and there is a nice breeze of the water even though there is a tree line that blocks the view. Almost evry site a has a canopy of mature tree cover. There is access to get on the canal path, so bring your bikes. The owners have canoes and Kayaks to rent. A family atmosphere is encouraged here, but you need to plan the activities for your kids. This is the kind of place I would consider getting a seasonal site. I've never had that urge before either. The town is minutes away, and very charming. Enjoy!

Cleanest, quitest campground we have ever be in. Great bike ride along the Hennepin Canal. This has got to be in the top ten of all campgrounds if not number one. Great people, great facilities and a great time.
