Enjoy a leisurely stroll on our nature trail that winds through our 40-acre woods. If you look carefully and are quiet, you may see a moose, or deer or other U.P. wildlife. Feel free to pick the wild berries along the way!
We own & operate a quiet family park and we are committed to providing our guests with a safe & secure stay.
If you want tranquility, you will enjoy a stay with us. We understand the importance of pets in the family. Pets are allowed in the campground and must be leashed and under the control of their owner at ALL times. KEEP YOUR PETS LEASHED AT ALL TIMES! If you cannot abide by our pet rules, then please choose a different park to spend your vacation time.
Our large grassy pull thru’ sites can accommodate any size rig. Because we do want to keep our sites grassy, rugs and mats of any kind or size are not allowed.
Dan & I are seasoned campers and have a great respect for Mother Nature. We have put that part of ourselves into our campground and are able to offer you modern & rustic camping in a natural wooded setting. We take pride in our well-maintained campground and facilities; from keeping the bird feeders filled to protecting the many species of trees found in the campground. Enjoy a spectacular sunrise or a berry-picking stroll through our scenic woods, or just sit and listen to the many birds found in the campground. A bird-viewing deck is available for our adult guests. During the summer and early fall months you’ll be treated to up close viewing of hummingbirds as well as other species of birds native to our area.
Please remember that the Upper Peninsula is noted for mosquitoes and other buzzing bugs. Come prepared with Off!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this park. It is centrally located to all the places we wanted to see. True, the mosquitoes were pesky at times and other times just down right bad, but put Off on and we're good to go. What is camping without a few bugs in the picnic? Nice quiet environment and the owners are extremely helpful and outgoing. There water tastes better than any bottled water we've ever had. Will highly recommend to others.

BLOOD SUCKING BUGS GALORE!

Can you say bugs? How about blood-sucking mosquitos, gnats and black flies? This place doesn't spray and has it written they are not responsible for the elements of nature, but they do not fully disclose how horrible the place is loaded with these vampires. I'm a northern MN camper and this place beat them all. The Wi-Fi is next to impossible to get on, unless you want to be outside and are a glutton for punishment. The pros were the place was clean and so were their bathroom/shower facilities, albeit crowed by the bugs again. Lots and lots of rules and up-charges for this and that. We were in a pop up.
