Very good find

We rented the newly built log cabin (built by Bob the owner) in this clean RV campsite for the weekend. It is a very comfortable cabin for a family of four. Cabin amenities are excellent. There are two bedrooms and one bath and A/C. Hot Water is always available, Kitchen appliances are all working and clean. There is a picnic table, fire pit and charcoal bbq provided. Bob was right when he said to just bring food and linen as the cabin provided for the rest. The place is surprisingly reasonably priced. There were non-stop activities during the weekend. There was an auction, dj, karaoke, bingo, hay rides, breakfast. non-demonination church service and fireworks. The camp store is well stocked and yes there is a stick of butter available. lol. Owners Bob and Patty and staff are very kind and are always there to help. Their website does not give the campsite justice but we sure are lucky to find this place.

It was a wonderful setting, but the customer service was inexcusibly bad! Despite the fact that we were traveling over 5 hours, the vague and at times deceptive responses left us very surprised by the actually setting. Then instead of attempting to work anything out we were told that emails don't count as real communication, we were stupid for paying up front and expecting to work anything out after the fact. At one point the owner told us we weren't welcome and he'd like to see us try to get the money. All this while wearing a Jesus tee and accusing us of being offended by prayer. It's a beautiful lake, Lake Wilhelm, but it is far too large to risk an encounter with anything as expensive and bizarre as those responsible for my experience with Camp Wilhelm
