Welcome to Saras Campground, offering camping along the shores of beautiful Lake Erie! Pitch your tent or park your camper on one of over 200 campsites nestled along both the bayside and lakeside beaches of the lake. Those that review this campsite with positive reviews must simply have fond childhood memories that have tainted their view. The review that said this is the best campsite they have ever been to, cannot have been at too many, because this is the worst I have ever been to. Tent sites are poorly marked, laid out, and really, really packed together. There is no system whatsoever. The lakeside tent sites on the beach are a nice idea, but it looked like the parking lot of a Grateful Dead concert out there. Tents 10 feet apart from one another, so system of organization or definition of space. The bay side was quieter, where I stayed, but sites were at least 1/4 the size they should have been, and it was difficult to tell where one site ended and another started, seriously. Oh yeah, pay showers, 25 cents for 5 minutes, so I hope you bring quarters. If it weren't for its amazing location I think this place would have been out of business years ago.

Terible place, does not take reservations or credit of any kind.Nonprofessionals run this so called camp ground.Don't waste your time go to the near by Koa or hills family campground a few miles up the road. They take reservations and are professionals that run a clean campground.
