Have a New Camper?

Arranged to have my 5th wheel moved to this campground late in the season. Arranged with Owners to have winter put up, too. All looked good until about a month later when Owner came to me and told me that my 5th whell was too old for their campground and I would eith have to move it out or upgrade!
Now, I'm not rich and cannot afford a new camper, but isn't this something you should tell somebody BEFORE you move the camper onsite?
Owners could not be negotiated with, there were no more seasonal campgrounds in that area so I was stuck. i didn't have a truck to keep moving the camper from one campground to the next, week by week and they knew that. I would have to pay someone to keep moving it and that was money I did not have in abundance- so they screwed me good here.
As for the Owners? they got their money, I had already paid in advance for the remainder of the season.and they had campers in their campground even older than my 1975 5th wheel onsite and in use so I did not understand why I was being targeted like this?
And to make matters worse management actually rented my site out to another Camper during the time of my PAID tenure. These people showed up on a Sunday morning banging on my door telling me they were supposed to be on this site! Remember that I had already paid for the season.
Look if you have a new or newer camper you probably are OK to camp here but if you have a classic camper or like vintage things- AVOID this place!
I would also get everything in writing from management before you give them any money because they seem to like to change the rules as it suits them.
Overnight stay ok, longer than that...beware.

This campground had an entry gate that suggested the grounds were secure. Not...the gate was always open. When you sign in and obtain a site, do you expect to get that site when you return in the evening? Not...it's a free-for-all. There were campers in my assigned spot 3 out of 5 days we were there. Don't bother asking for help...the staff could care less. I was told to "pick a spot." Keep in mind, we came back to a pitch dark area with blinding rain, but I could just "pick any spot." Gee thanks. There are permanent trailer residents at this place, so the staff must cater to them and not to those just visiting. No such thing as customer service here! BTW...big surprise...the restrooms were awful, too. This place uses an online reservation service. No wonder since they charge you ahead of time knowing that you can't do anything about the bad service and bad facilities. Horrible place for families. Unsecure, unfriendly, unusable restrooms, unhelpful, unbelievably disappointing.
