The Waterhouses Campground was established in 1963 and presently offers 71 sites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Sites are reserved on a first come, first served basis and are available for seasonal rental. Each site is provided with water, electricity and a there is a dump station on premises. Choices include grassy, wooded, and riverfront sites. Access to the marina is included with site rental. Behind the Camping area is a large tract of land that is available for hiking, exploring, and mountain biking. Just a short hike up Sunset Hill opens panoramic views of the Lake Champlain Valley to the west of Lake Dunmore, and the Green Mountains to the east with just a turn of the head! (Yes…incredible sunsets also!!)
