NOT A VERY HAPPY CAMPER,WATER CONSTANTLY WENT OFF AND LEFT GREY SILT IN TUBS.TO BE FAIR THE CAMP HOSTS STUI AND HIS WIFE WERE WONDERFUL KEEPING THE SITE NICELY MOWED AND EXPLAINING THE WATER PROBLEM HE WAS HAVING. AND NOT BEING RESOLVED BY THE OWNER FOR SEVERAL MONTHS.BUT DID ALL HE COULD TO GET GOOD CLEAN WATER TO US UNLIKE THE SUPPOSED OWNERS.I HAVE SINCE HEARD THAT THE OWNERS HAVE LET THEM GO AFTER WORKING SO HARD BECAUSE THEY TOLD CAMPERS ABOUT THE WATER PROBLEM.OWNER IS STILL TAKING BOOKING AND NOT INFORMING THE PUBLIC/CAMPERS THAT WHEN ARRIVE THERE WILL BE NO WATER.I HAVE NOW SEEN ONLINE AT thecampgroundconnections.com THAT THE SITE IS UP FOR SALE. AND I BELIEVE THAT NO SEASONAL CAMPERS ARE AWARE OF THIS FACT FROM THE CURRENT OWNERS.THE HOSTS MADE SEVERAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THERE EXPENSE, UNAWARE THE OWNER WERE JUST USING THEM TO MAKE THE SITE LOOK BETTER FOR HER OWN GAIN...WE HAD A REAL BAD STORM AND THE OWNER NEVER CAME UP TO CHECK ON THE DAMAGE OR IF ANY OF HER CAMPERS WERE INJURED.SO JUST SHOWS HOW THEY CARE...SO BE WARNED VISIT AT YOUR OWN PERIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New owner has ruined this once wonderful campground. She is rude and disrepectful to campers and employees. Increased rent over $500/yr for seasonals, 25% for weekenders. Rental units are deplorable!

Unless you enjoy doing nothing, being disrepected and ignored, repeatly asking for basic needs or only need to have a place to land for an overnight don't waste your time! New Owner Took Over 2010 and has no idea how to run a campground!
Here are just a few reasons why:
- TEN seasonal campers LEFT this campground (one couple had been there over 30 years!). Three seasonal campers are only staying because they cannot move!
- Several "weekenders" will never return due to new owner's lack of response to basic needs.
- There is at least one water line break that was never fixed dispite repeated requests to have it repaired.
- Rent for remaining rental unit is more than hotel rates in surrounding areas! (The other is up for sale, don't buy it since owner did NO upkeep!)
- No Activities - Everything Has Been Cancelled!
- Boil Water Advisory Issued by Health Dept.
- NYSEG Shut Off Notice Posted
- No One In The Office (Owner Gone Days, Weeks On End)
- No Emergency Contact
- Rental Campers Are Not Set Up By Owner, Awnings Were Damaged Then Haphazardly Fixed
- Filthy Restrooms
- No Toilet Paper
- No Hot Water
- Sites Not Mowed
- Missing Fire Rings
- Overgrown Hiking Trails
If you decide to camp here be prepared for one of the worst experiences you have ever had at a campground bar none! Good luck to you!

What a terrible shame. The new owners of this campground have all but ruined what could be a great place. The woman from the UK is rude, dishonest, demanding, and terrible in her business dealings. She expects to get everything she can from someone with no compensation. She offered a position of "Campground Host" with NO COMPENSATION, other than a dilapidated fifth wheel trailer. Expected 25 hours of work per week with no pay... and after reading other reviews, I became skeptical of her integrity. Previous employees state that they had to wait WEEKS for pay... her core business .. Seasonal Campers have abandoned her campground because she is rude, inattentive, etc...
There are many campgrounds in the finger lakes that are beautiful, well maintained, and well managed.... Do not support a foreign opportunist.
SINCE THE NEW OWNERS TOOK OVER THIS YEAR THIS CAMPGROUND IS DEPLORABLE. HEALTH DEPT POSTED A DO NOT USE WATER IN MAY, NYSEG WAS GOING TO SHT OFF ELECTRIC. NEW OWNER WAS NEVER THERE.

I HAVE BEEN CAMPING AT TUMBLE HILL FOR THE LAST NINE YEARS. NEW OWNER DEBRA IN SPRING. NO ACTIVITES. HEALTH DEPT. POSTED A BOIL WATER IN MAY AND ALSO NYSEG WAS GOING TO SHUT OFF ELECTRIC. NEW OWNER WAS NEVER THERE. IT WAS FREE CAMPING ALL SUMMER. PAID OUR SEASONAL RATE AND USED THE CAMPER 4 TIMES. DID NOT FEEL SAFE THERE. JUST PULLED THE CAMPER OFF THE SITE. EVEN THOUGH WE PAID FOR GRASS CUTTING IT WAS ONLY DONE 3-4 TIMES ALL SUMMER. TRAILS WERE NEVER CUT. THIS LADY HAS COST ME AN ENORMOUS AMT. OF MONEY TO RELOCATE THIS TRAILER. PLEASE ANYONE READING THIS DO NOT GO TO TUMBLEHILL CAMPGROUND. AT LEAST 10-12 SEASONALS HAVE PULLED OUT AND ARE NOT RETURNING. TOO BAD CAMPERS DO NOT HAVE ANY PLACE TO TURN TO TRY AD FIX THE SITUATION. OWNER ON 3-4 OCCASIONS WAS GOING TO TALK TO US BUT EVEN WHEN I WAS HAVING THE SHED MOVED OUT SHE DROVE BY ON HER LITTLE GOLF CART AND JUST LOOKED STRAIGHT AHEAD. I KNOW SHE NEVER OWNED A CAMPGROUND BEFORE SO MAYBE SHE SOULD SELL IT. BUT AFTER LOOSING THAT MANY SEASONAL CAMPERS SHE MIGHT LOSE THE PLACE ANYHOW. THIS REVIEW IS NOT VENDICTIVE IT IS THE TRUTH.
