Rustic Adirondack RV Park

This is a small, rather basic and rustic RV park in the Adirondacks, conveniently located close to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake (which is why we were there). The hosts/owners were super friendly and helpful. Site was pretty level, with good electrical connection. No cable TV hook-ups and in a "dead zone" for Verizon and other wireless. The RV parking area was gravel/packed dirt and the entire area was covered with leaves and pine needles (it was autum afterall). I suspect that in warmer weather the bugs -- especially mosquitos -- could be horrific, but we weren't bothered since there was frost the night we stayed. Bathrooms were old but fairly clean. Quiet setting, wonderful pine forest smell and spectacular star-filled sky! Our rate was reasonable - $22 for 1 nite, plus metered electric ($1.32= 6kw). The electric is metered in case campers use electric heaters rather than their in-rig propane furnace. Not fancy, but we would stay there again if in the area.
