If you are looking for a picturesque place to rest and relax, come to West Canada Creek Campsites. Our campground is close to the Adirondack Park in the spectacular Adirondack Mountains. We are a full service campground with everything the family needs while camping. You can enjoy an assortment of outdoor activities such as swimming in our sparkling pool, tubing or canoeing on the river, spending a lazy day fishing on the West Canada Creek, or maybe you’ll just want to relax, sit back, and read a book while taking in the splendid scenery.
Don’t have a tent or RV, no problem, we also have cabins that have a beautiful view of the river. Tent camping? never fear, we have a separate tenting area that is as rustic as they come, near the river, with full access to all of our campground amenities.
We have large pull thru sites that offer privacy as well as full hookups. We also have sites in a variety of settings, shaded, sunny, full-hookups (50 AMPS), primitive, on the river and river view and we can accommodate BIG rigs with no problem.
There are many activities at West Canada Creek. Activities at West Canada Creek include: swimming, canoeing, volleyball, fishing, and tubing or if you are looking for a more relaxed game to play we also have horseshoes, bocce and for the youngsters we have a great playground. We also have a pavilion area for groups or families to use and if rain should happen to appear, no problem, we just close the sides and have a weather proof area to continue the activities.
If you are in the mood for a snack or some delicious cold and creamy custard, visit our unique Lil’ Red Caboose. We offer hot dogs, nachos, slushees, sodas, root-beer floats, milkshakes, sundaes and good old fashioned soft serve custard cones. And don’t forget to pick up your Lil’ Red Caboose T-shirt at the camp store. There is no better way to finish a great summer day than a cool refreshing treat from our Lil’ Red Caboose.

Rude owners

Date:

July 1, 2012

Was excited for this stay because i had heard good things however was extremely disappointed with how disrespectful and rude the staff was from the moment we checked in. As a small family group of 5 people ages 25-30 I did not expect to be lectured in a snotty tone about drinking and quote told by the female OWNER that " she would have never rented to us in the first place." We were also told we needed to rent for three nights when we saw multpile other parties come and go for one night. We,were screamed at for going the speed limit when there was a ridiculous amount of drunk driving going on by the rednecks next to us --- where was the owner while these peoplemwere drunk driving??? There was some sort of family reunion ans they were spread out on every other campsite -- why would they not put these people in the same area?? We were given trouble for being a group of adults however it is acceptable to rent a site to a family with about 12 unruly children who screamed all night, cut through our campsite, took poops on the bathroom floor, and basically ran wild with no parental supervision. I understand this is a family oriented park however I would never, ever, bring my children to this facility based on the number of completely obliterated drunk adults who let their child run free with no regard for anyone else. Stop harassing the responsible ones and focus on the drunks driving around at night.
