From Asheville, I-26, take Exit 40 (Hwy 280W), go 16.2 miles to 64W and 276S, then 3.6 miles to Brevard, then left onto 276S for 12.6 miles to Summer Road, near state line. Or, from I-85 (Greenville, SC, Exit 48), take 276W for 36.3 miles to Caesar’s Head State Park, then 3 miles to Summer Road, near state line. Open: Year Round. First class camping in the mountains at 3,000 ft. elevation. Level, wooded sites feature beautiful views, fire rings with grills and tables. All RV sites have water and 30/50 amp service, many are full hookups. Tent sites have water and electric. Camping cabins with porches, have electric, AC/heaters. Good roads. Heated swimming pool, arcade, volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, playground, snack bar, rec. building and campground activities. Clean restrooms and showers, camp store with ice and firewood, dump station, pay phone, laundry, 24 hour security. Leashed pets welcome. MC/VISA. Nearby: Caesar’s’ Head State Park, DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, Holmes State Forest,

Campground was in it's infancy. Freindly staff and clean campground. clean bathrooms.

no drive throughs allowed. this is not the case for other campgrounds that I have been in and I have been camping for 40 years......Not much to do there "in" the campground.
