We were presently looking through reviews on Campgrounds and opon looking at Yogi Bear in Qurryville I guess they couldn't pay us to stay there. I guess they don't understand that bad reviews send customers the other way. We have camped there in the past but when they started nickle and diming us for everything we moved on to regular campgrounds.

Unfortunatly this campground could be great under new management. We willnot go back due to, lack of Pool/Water park hours, Pedal Carts, and Jumping Pillow. They highly promote these items, but they do not open these activities until 11am and close at 7pm. We paid top dollar to stay at this campground, but did not recieve top service. There is no supervision at these activities. Young children jumping in the pool which is only 3.5 ' deep, almost hitting other children and running is out of control. The children are climbing up the wet slides after they slide down. They are looking at a hugh lawsuit if they do not make changes. My father in law witnessed the owner being very disrespectful to a gentleman that questioned the time of the pedal carts. The owner told him if he did not like it he could check out now. Very Rude!

We ask if we could bring our own pillow cases to a coloring craft and he stated in a very nasty tone "NO WAY..you can't bring your own...you have to purchase them from us!" Campers that were with my group witnessed him being nasty with others about the pedal karts. There are no lifegaurds attending this 40,000 sq ft water park. I personally witnessed children getting hurt from running. They have no supervision over the pool/water park at all. Kids are there without parents running and doing flips into the pool. The pool is only 3.5 ft deep. Their paper work states that check out is at 2:00 but check out is 1:00. We will not camp there again unless under new management.

We had the worst experience with camp owners ever. We have stayed numerous times at Jellystone properties throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland and we have NEVER EVER had a bad experience until this past weekend. Reading the posts around the internet, I only wish we knew that the manager/owner Bob has anger management issues and this franchise that touts itself as family friendly is anything but before we booked our 4 day visit! He viciously verbally abused two small boys that were with families traveling with us - accusing them -screaming - of transmitting on the campgrounds' radio frequency - known to many campers as Family Talk Channel - 22 with the walkie talkies their parents had given them as they walked around the field adjacent to our sites. In our camping excursions through the years across the United States, family use of walkie talkies has appeared to be commonplace. Warning - it is not permitted here. He sited that he does not have to follow FCC rules, but everyone there must follow - and I quote - "Bob's rules." This was news to the military member that was traveling with us that works with the FCC. Apparently Bob makes his own rules and NO they are not listed in the brochures they give you at check in. The children were in tears. Bob was screaming and would not relent. Parents were trying to explain to Bob that it would not happen again, the channel would be changed but he continued on his rant. We will not return. In addition to this unfortunate incident, the bathrooms were filthy. There is no hand soap or dispensers. Better bring your own toilet paper too! If you smoke, you will enjoy the cleaning ladies aroma from that lingers in all the bathrooms from their chain smoking when they actually clean. Of course, they don't follow the no smoking rules posted. Be careful of the pedal carts - there is a huge hill that they roll down - often times unattended into the tent campers below - saw this happen twice. The only highlight of our stay was the water park. Unfortunately, the above mentioned incident happened in the last hour of our stay and soured our entire visit. There were 5 families with us and all of us were so incensed by the unprofessional conduct of the owner that we have agreed our 2010 camping excursion will never be held again here.

We love this campground!! It is so clean and the campsites are terrific. Nice, level, stone sites. Very quiet and peaceful. Great place to take your family. We LOVED the waterpark. Couldn't get the kids to leave. Tons of activities for the kids. We couldn't get to all of them. We would definately camp here again, however, we will have to wait until the rates go down. The inseason rates are extremely high and not an option when there are so many other places to go of interest that are a fraction of the price.

Wow what a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Poor Facilities and DISGUSTING RESTROOMS/SHOWERS!!! Waterpark appears fairly new but too bad it was NEVER OPEN! The pool was however open for 3 whole hours during the 5 days. We only saw someone in a Yogi suit once on Sat. Morning. The did have a nice inflatable jumping pillow and sand volleyball court, however it was mostly locked so that no one could us it as were the pedal cars and the game room! Save your money and stay at a regular campsite that is closer to the lancaster area attractions.

we were there on days with 97-100 degree days.No shade at all on our 6 sites,not even a blade of grass to walk on.We had 9 small children and no way to let them down on the ground because it was all 1"-2" rocks that punctured holes through your sandals and literally cut your feet,my son was one with a nasty cut..We tried to tell the office people of our dissapointment and we were treated pretty nasty.We were told we couldn't leave early even though we paid ahead.The lady working and collecting money should not have been in customer service at all.All 6 families were rather disgusted and we would have left if we had some other place to go.I would never recommend this place to anyone.......
