This campground is in a steady state of decline. I am a seasonal and have to say that Morgan is wrecking an awesome campground. The lake was dreadful and not open even for a holiday weekend. The ceramics people and bingo workers were awesome...but every other person there was not overly friendly. Over priced on everything else.

This campground used to be so nice until Morgan took it over. Now it's crap. The managment has no idea how to manage and they are rude. We have been overcharged and never got a refund. Corporate actually hung up on me when I called to ask a question. The Wifi is advertised but never works and everytime you ask they say it's temporary due to a lightning strike. It's been three years of a temporary due to lightning strike !! The bathrooms are dirty and the store is not well stocked.
Bottom line. Stay away. We are a group of 20+ families that camp together and we are done with them. Moving on.
This past weekend when we were there a DJ had a block party on his site. The music was blasting through the campground and the road was blocked by partiers. Nothing was done when a friend complained. The party went on until 11pm. No rules.

JUST DON'T GO HERE. Use to be a great place, but some company bought it and WOW they must have a masters degree in how not to run a campground or a buisness.

Never again!

We went to Camp Waubeeka for the 4th of July weekend. The site is not that great but we picked it, since we had a large group of people.
There are showers, but they are so dirty and disgusting that we couldn't even think of going there. The bathrooms are horrid as well with no lights and toilets just a hole in the ground. Swimming lake is ok, but the beach area is tiny and overcrowded by teens. Little golf carts are zipping by every 5 minutes filling the air with smoke and exhaust. The whole experience was worsen by the rain. A lot of ticks in the woods. Our dog had 23 of them! The sites are big, but instead of a fire pit you have to find yourself a tiny fire ring. The people around in RV resort were not pleasant either... I wouldn't not recommend Camp Waubeeka to anyone, nor we are never coming back.
