Magnificent Georgia pines greet you at this KOA just shy of the Florida border and the historic St. Marys River. With easy on-off from I-95 and spacious 78-foot pull thrus, it makes an ideal stop on the way to and from the Sunshine State. But youÂ’ll likely want to linger awhile, since classic Southeastern scenery awaits right outside the gates. Spend a day walking the beach along the sun-warmed sands of Cumberland Island National Seashore. Explore the famous Okefenokee Swamp.

Then head back toward the tall pines and fun at the Jacksonville North/Kingsland KOA. Slip into the large pool for a dip or hone your putting skills with a round of mini golf. Plan dinner at the pavilion—the smoker is perfect for a Southern barbecue.

I would definately reccomend this campground. They always have plenty of nightly and monthly sites available unlike Savannah South KOA. The staff is courteous and friendly and willing to help in any way. This campground is 100 percent better than Savannah South KOA and I have enjoyed my stay there.
