what a dump

Is it a trailer park or a camp ground? The place is cluttered on a small property and they treated us like children. Rude owners and loud music playing past midnight. The bathrooms were dirty and unkept and they charged a reservation fee despite being empty.

well it was just in june that i was there and i had no choice but to go back...this time i rented one of their trailers...they have 2 and both are in great shape..they maintain them and i found nothing wrong..(and i looked...lol) i can't say enough about the camp grounds...very clean and wooded and such a friendly place...i met some real nice people this time...sat and had morning coffee and shared a few laughs...i'm really starting to enjoy this whole camping thing...i am so impressed with the attitude and enjoyment that i received from not only deb and dale...(the owners) but also from the other people there...it's a good feeling when you drive into a campground that you feel welcomed and not just a site number..i did take some time to look at other camp grounds in the area this time....and found nothing that compared...deb and dale have a way of thinking that must be appreciated...they are both campers from way back and they wanted a place that fit their ideas of true camping...and from what i can tell..they have achieved this dream...their pricing is within the realm of the times...and the service is from the days of norman rockwell....you can take your family and know that there is no better place that you would want to be...deb's smile and dales handshake makes you feel like you belong....i can not wait to see my new friends again and to meet even more...i know i'm going back in september and again in the spring...my 10 year old and her friend had the best time...never once did i hear....daddy i'm bored...lol...perfection is the only word i can find to describe oakknoll family campground....hey if your camping in the area and haven't seen what you want...stop by this campground and just check it out....i know you'll be happy with what you see...

oak knoll family campground...you pull into a wooded campground and the first thing you notice is that it's clean and very well maintained...drive to the office where you'll meet two of the nicest people that you could ever meet..(deb and dale the owners)...we rented a sleeping cabin and it was more then we expected..there was never an unwelcome visit or intrusive invasion of the privacy that we wanted..however if you find yourself talking with dale you'll notice the pride this man has for what he has built..with a smile and grin..he'll tell you a story or lend a helping hand...if your lucky enough to stay the night or the week take a moment to hear the story of the killer chiwawa bear..(misspelled on purpose...lol..)..i can't wait to sit and have a coffee with dale again....deb is just as strong and friendly..you can see in her eye's that she loves to be where she is...please don't pass this place by...perfection is the only word i can think of at this time.....
