On the positive side this campground has good facilities and is clean. It's conveniently located near Lake Michigan, National Parks, and the many local attractions. On the negative side they don't enforce their own campground policies. Quiet time starts a 11 PM but campers were allowed to party (loud noise, music, fireworks, drinking) as late as they wanted. In addition, dogs were allowed to run loose around surrounding campsites and chasing cars. This could be a much nicer campground if it was operated better.
Very nice campground, no problem with insects or anything.
