We've been traveling to this park from the Chicago area for 10+ years. It's a beautiful, family park and we've NEVER had any problem at all. I laugh when I read reviews that say the owners are crabby. What I've found over the years is that the people who complain about the owners enforcing the rules are the ones I don't want in a family campground in the first place. We have always found the owners to be warm and friendly and their campground is second to none I've ever been to.

nice looking campground but BAD owners
June 15, 2009
We decided to stay at this campground due to finding some good reviews but when we arrived we found the owners to be quite mean and nasty. When we arrived Don told us to pull over to the side of the entrance road which we promptly did. After paying, Mayva told us to move up to where she was at and not stay parked where we were. Then Don started to yell at us for moving and proceeded to take us in a direction that we were not able to make the corner at all. At that point I was forced to unhook my towed vehicle during which time Don was calling me names and yelling. This is NOT the way to run a campground and I am surprised they are still in business. The campground itself is nice but should be avoided due to the BAD owners.
