very loud no enforcement of rules
July 29, 2010
The staff is mostly 14 to 15 years old and even after I complained of a lot of noise coming from a very loud radio from a party of about 50 people nothing was done. Even after quier hours from 11 pm to 8 am most night were loud with people talking and yelling I was awakened at 1:15am to 2:30 am because of this on one night. People were playing a projector movie on side of their camper and it was so loud my family had to yell to hear eachother in our campsite. Kids are required to have a wristband for pool and waterpark, but 20% of them didn't have one, and there was no body to enforce it. Was about $55 per night during weekdays but it only includes 2 people each additional child was $3 extra per night. The water park is only fun for 5 year olds and younger, and the mini golf was very run down. The only place to fish on the 2 docks were so overgrown with weeds and milfoil it was imposible ever for bobber fishing. So my advice is to not get drawn in by what it appears to be you will be disappointed. Don't get me wrong with the proper managment and a adult (on grounds staff) it could be a premier place for a family vacation, its really too bad it could be awesome but the way your packed in and by lack of responsible staff made it the worst camping experience I've ever had!
