Horrible-no beach access very outdated
August 22, 2011
This was a horrible first time cabin renta. For the prices we paid we needed more. The cabins were so old they were falling into the lake. All the floors slanted. The stove in the cabin was gas and the dials you could not read so no idea if you were going to blow the place up. There was a smell that was not lake smell. The name says Sunset Beach but there is no beach. You walk down to the beach and it is a foot drop or so and mostly covered in rocks. My kids tried to play but they are toddlers. The so called beach you had to go about another foot and it looked like someone covered steps in sand. the kids playground was broken down. this place seemed like they sold every inch they could so somone could put a rv or a cabin. the pilot light went out and we walk to the office and we had to walk back when the person on staff took the 4wheeler. Never offered us a ride. do not go to this place if you are wanting to play in the water. we had to spend extra money and drive 20miles to a rec center so we could swim. I wanted to leave but my husband made us stay. we stopped at the office to double check and they screwed up billing.
