Outdoor enthusiasts head to Fond du Lac to fish, boat and swim at Lake Winnebago, Wisconsins largest inland lake. Hiking and biking trails abound in the region, including about 35 miles of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Kettle Moraine State Forest. Bird watchers flock to sprawling Horicon Marsh, home to more than 260 species, while aviation buffs pilot toward the Experimental Aircraft Associations AirVenture Museum and its annual Fly In.

Summary: | Great KOA-nice shady sites. Very clean
Date: | May 28, 2012 |
This is an excellent campground and the owners are very customer service oriented. Good facilities and newly remodeled bathrooms that are kept very clean. A big jumping pillow keeps the kids very well entertained and the pool, while small, is still nice and very family friendly.
Large mature trees are on at least half the sites so if you want sun or shade they can accommodate you.

Summary: | FANTASTIC for familes.

My family has lived near this campground our whole lives and had not known what a diamond in the rough we had.
The camp is near both Fond du Lac and Eden which, should you need to, provides quick and easy access to local stores. While also providing a wonderful wooded retreat. They have sites for everyone, wooded sites, field sites, and half and half. The pool and hot tub are always very clean. They have the BEST bathrooms and the most clean, that I have ever seen ! And I have been camping my entire life. Great activities for kids every day and on holidays, as well as the jumping balloon they have "not sure what it's called", the kids want to go on it ALL DAY ! Fishing and they even have some animals that are interesting and fun to visit. Gives kids an opportunity to get closer to animals they wouldn't normally have an opportunity to. We plan to go back many many times for many years to come. Absolutely 2 thumbs up !

Summary: | horrible | |

I don't even know where to start. The tent area is ridiculous. You are practically on top of the party next to you (who you do not know what-so-ever), and if accidentally walk on someone else's campsite (in the trailer areas - mixed in with the tent area), they will for sure yell at you and tell you to "walk around." Even though you have no way of telling where one campsite starts and another one ends. The pool is small and gross. The water is so cloudy it looks white. Oh, and if your kids accidentally wander into the hot tub area, beware of the creepy old guy watching out the window that will for sure scream at your kids like they are his own. At this campsite kids cannot do things that normal kids do (for example, jump in the pool). Oh and I forgot the best part... There are animals on the campsite so you get to smell cow manure the entire time you are camping! And the files are horrible! They are everywhere; especially in the cabins. I would never in life recommend this campground to anyone I know.
