treatment of manager

Date:

September 7, 2009

Very clean facilities.
Manager turned very rude when we left. We were told we could pay extra, per hour, if we went over checkout time if no one was renting the cabins that night. We paid for 2 hours and we went over 20 minutes trying to get kids out of pool and pack the cars. He said we were deceitful for not leaving on time and we would have to pay for a whole day of swimming. When we told him another employee, on Saturday, said we could pay per each hour that we stayed, he would not listen and glared at us as we were getting in our cars. What would of been a "perfect weather" weekend biking on the Elroy Sparta State bike trail that went sour the last 20 minutes of our Labor day weekend family trip.
Also, the road noise from HWY 94 was unbearable . You could not even hear someone talk to you by the pool. If a truck ran off the road right at that spot, at 70mph, you would not have time to run for cover. It was that close!
