Nice little campground but the nazi like tactics of the management ruin the entire experience. Nice and quiet at night but the owners ridiculously long list of rules and beyond crazy. Stay clear !

The management here needs a lesson in customer service. It seems they have some ridiculous rule for EVERYTHING!! We had some friends stop by for the day while we were there and the owners yelled at them and us telling us we had no right to invite people there since we didn't own place. From my understanding, the beach is open to the public and as along as they pay their $6 I should be able to invite as many people as I want ! All visitors must leave by 7:30 and since our friends left 4 minutes late because their 3 yr. granddaughter needed to poop before they left the manager came storming out to the lot and starting screaming at us and charged us $25 as a late fee! Steer clear...these people are nuts and it's not worth the hassle to camp there !

Would not recommend, noise is prohibited after 9:30. Seems to only apply to music, was asked to turn off very quiet radio though surrounding sites were very loud. Too strict, not comparable.

This campground doesn't allow any music after 9:30, but screaming kids are fine. Although nice, Lenwood is not worth their salt as they are too strict especially compared to the competition.

This was the worst campground we have ever been too. Very unreasonable owners and visiting policies. It is like being ina prison. Our family came to visit from seven hours away and we stopped to see them at about 7:25pm. They told us we had to leave at 7:30 because that was when visiting hours were over. Mind you it was the fourth of july. When we did not leave ten minutes later he threatned to call the sheriff and kicked us and both campsites out. We had young children and no place to go to camp on the holiday. He was yelling and did not give anyone a chance to speak and would not listen to our side of the story. I would never recommend this campground even to ny worst enemy.
