Meadowlark Campground

Majestic rural setting on the Caloosahatchee Waterway, docks, daily planned activities, exercise gym, staged and equipped recreation hall with kitchen, new pool, water aerobics, tournament petanque, horseshoes, shuffleboard, dance classes, quilting, billiard building, and 180 sites. Modem hookup, and propane available. Safe, quiet, and picturesque, this park is uniquely surrounded on two sides by water. Great fishing begins here, although folks say their rates are the best catch. Let them spoil you.

Summary: | An all around disappointment | |
Date: | March 20, 2012 |
We stayed 3 days after hearing about the place from some people we met in Michigan, and what a disappointment. We wanted to find a new park to stay in the winter months, but this one isn't it. We heard it was nice and inexpensive; I guess you get what you pay for. We camped in a 5th wheel.
