Friendly park and staff. Quiet setting. River runs thru it, beautifully landscaped, mountain views. Spacious meeting room. Clean laundry and sparkling restrooms add to its serenity. Newly updated 30/50amp, phone/modem full hookups. Hot tub, potlucks, card, bingo and board games, evening campfires, horseshoes and more. Separate riverside tent area. Things to do in area: hike (some guided), mountain bike, horseback ride, fish, boat and Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park.

Delightful Park!

August 9, 2006

A few miles and a world away from the madness of Durango! Quiet, country setting with the nicest tent area we have seen. A small stream runs along the campground. The sites and amenities are immaculate. I think we saw the campground manager bleaching the dumpster! Staff was friendly and helped us set up. Close to nature--close to town for the activities of the Durango area. We would definitely stay here again.
