I really enjoy camping here

I've been coming for about 7 years
the best show I've seen was eddie money
it's a quick trip to the beach
the staff is really cool and it's laid back
you call them to make a reservation at is no deposit
it's tents only so it's very peaceful and quiet
there's a shower that's always hot
two clean bathrooms

We have stayed here quite a few times. It's a little ways from the beach and down town, but it's clean and quite. The owners are friendly and a host/manager patrols frequently. We have met some great people during our stay here.
The price is definitely affordable and the showers are great! Hot water, mirrors, clean and cheap!
Dogs are allowed on a leash and are welcomed if they are well behaved. The owner even has a friendly dog that greets you as you arrive.
You check in at the house which I didn't know the first time.
Some sights are better than others.
You can hike from the campground and spend the day hiking around UCSC- it's literally a few hundred yards away from the base of the University. Sunsets are great from the top!
I recommend this place! If you don't have to be ON the beach and you don't require open fires (not that Santa Cruz allows that anywhere these days), it's a great place to put up tent for a few nights!
