My husband and I camped here with our dog about a week ago. This is our second time here. Our fist time was in 2011. We camped in our 28' travel trailer. It was a very nice campground. The campground is kept very clean. They have a nice pool. It seems as if they are continuously updating. Everyone was friendly and we will certainly be booking another trip asap.

This place has issues

This place was nice and friendly, lots of events and clean. It has taken a hard turn. Now smells due to the installation of a new sewer system. The smell of raw sewage permiates through the campground - which cannot be heathy. Upkeep has dwindled, staff acts like rent a cop and the events are sub-par and playground looks is grossly outdated. It is sad to see as the place at one time showed so much potential for being an area attraction with a little updating. If you have hairy dogs beware of the mud when it rains as well as the other large dogs. Unfinished roads turn into a stream when it rains due to improper drainage. As well most sites experience a lot of water runoff so most sites are dirt as well. There is a lot of issues to deal with during your stay.

A newly reopened campground. Though They just started this year they have alread made vast improvment. By spring they should have sewer hookups, till then they do free pump outs for their seasonal and have a dump station. They have a brand new Smimming Pool area which is very nice. The owners are always available and very pleasent.
