Heritage Hill Campground is new in 2009. The campground is located between historic Montauk Mansion and Heritage Farm Park, which makes this camping destination activity-packed within walking distance.
Wander down the Montauk hill and you will find yourself in the Historic Brick City of Clermont, Iowa. Located on the Turkey River, this little town offers shopping, dining, fishing, canoeing, tubing and much more. The streets are also lined with many historic landmarks as well as museums which provide an educational adventure for any family or group.
Flush toilets and showers are available next door at Heritage Farm Park, a non-profit organization that manages the campground. A shower and flush toilet building in the campground area is in works, as well as water and sewer available to all campsites. Wireless internet is also available at Heritage Farm Park.
We have 56 RV camp sites equipped with electric, as well as four full hook up sites. Beside RV camping and primitive camping, we offer equestrian camping with approximately 10 miles of trails. Camp with us and explore the area’s caves, nature centers, museum, wagon rides, scenic drives, and much more!

We are located approximately one mile north of Clermont, Iowa, between historic Montauk Mansion and the Heritage Farm Park on Highway 18.
Reservations can be made by calling 563-423-5199 (after hours you may phone Arnold Guyer, 563-419-8534). There is no deposit, and reservations are on a first-come first-serve basis. Upon arriving at Heritage Hill Campground, stop at our information kiosk at the entrance of the park and pick up a registration form. Select your site and fill out the form. Place your copy of the form on your unit and drop the park's copy into the collection receptacle at the kiosk with your payment so that the ranger can be sure to check you in.
Yes, we allow pets. We also offer horse camping; as a safety precaution for you and your animal, all dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after.
Only one camper per site unless approved by management. The speed limit in the campground is 5 mph. Please limit vehicles to 2 cars only per campsite. Mopeds, golf carts and bicycles are permitted. Please obey speed limits. Please respect your neighbors- quiet hours are from 10:30 pm to 7 am. Please leave your campsite as clean as you found it. Pets allowed if on leash and under control at all times. You will be charged a fee for clean-up if you do not take of it yourself. Please Refrain from: Washing of cars/campers. Cutting through other campsites. Cutting of trees or shrubs. Using chain saws. Exposing firearms, bows, fireworks or explosives of any kind. Wildlife is protected. It is unlawful to feed, catch or harm any wildlife.
