We currently have 95 sites, all are full hook ups (water and sewer), 50/30/20 Amp electrical, Cable TV and Wifi. Quiet family campground located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Picnic shelters with fire pits and grills located throughout the park. Bath house on site, 2 fish ponds that are over 40 years old and well stocked (catch & release only please). The walking trail leads up to the burial place of Eng and Chang Bunker, actually our campground is located at the home place of the descendants of Eng and Chang Bunker. We have many great future plans, come visit and watch us grow! Just 5 miles from Mayberry RFD, the home of Andy Griffith. Close to churches, shopping, fine dining, and much more! From 77 North: Exit on 74 East. Take Exit #11 Highway 601, at the end of the ramp turn right on Highway 601. Take first left which is South McKinney Road. Go approximately 1/8 mile, take the first left onto Rustic Village Trail. At the end of the road, go straight across, and you will be in the parking lot of the campground office. From 77 South (Charlotte/Statesville area) Go 77 North, pass Exit #100, right after Exit 100 stay in the right lane and you will merge right onto I-74 East, go to Exit #11 which is Highway 601. At the end of the exit ramp take a right, get in the left lane immediately. Turn left on South McKinney Road, go approximately 1/8 mile, take the first left onto Rustic Village Trail. At the end of Rustic Village Trail, cross over the road and you will be in the parking lot of the campground and the office. From 52 South: Exit on 74 West. Take Exit #11 Highway 601, at the end of the ramp turn left, go under the bridge. Go straight through the stoplight, after the light, turn left on South McKinney Road. Go approximately 1/8 mile, turn left onto Rustic Village Trail. At the end of the road, go straight across, and you will be in the parking lot of the campground office. We love animals. We just ask that you keep them on a leash and clean up after them.
Check out is 3:00 pm (flexible) Quiet time is between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children at all times Fires are allowed only in designated areas: grills and fire rings only Please keep our restrooms clean Garbage: Please place your filled bag in the garbage cans at designated areas Do not move from one site to another. No ditching, digging holes or disturbing ground cover. Park only in the gravel driveway, no vehicles to park in any grass area at any time. Mayberry Campground is a privately owned camping resort. We reserve the right to select our clientele and refuse anyone. The speed limit for our park is 5 MPH For safety reasons, we don't allow firearms, fireworks, 4 wheelers, go carts or mini bikes Fishing is allowed in designated areas for all campers. Fishing is catch and release The management/owners of Mayberry Campground will not be held responsible for property damage, theft or your personal safety. Pets are welcome but please clean up after your pet to keep our park beautiful for your next visit. Please keep your pets on a leash at all times.
