Ed Allen’s Campground is located on 85 shady acres surrounded by the beautiful Chickahominy Lake. It is very family oriented campground with plenty of amenities to include two private fishing ponds, private boat ramp to the lake, well-stocked convenience store, arcade, horseshoe pit, playground, large bass-shaped pool (3ft-9ft), bath house, boat rentals, kayak rentals, restaurant, fishing pier, live entertainment (call for scheduling), pavilion for picnicking, variety of wildlife, great fishing, fishing tournaments, shoreline campsites, waterfront rental cottages, and much more. Ed Allen’s offers both cottages and campsites with full hook-ups, electric and water, or just a standard tent site located on the shoreline of the lake. Maximum 50 amp service hook-ups. Holiday weekends offers live entertainment and plenty of events for the kids to participate in. Located just minutes from historic Jamestown Settlement, Bush Gardens, Water Country USA, Colonial Downs Horse Racing, and Richmond International Raceway. 30 minutes from Richmond and 15 minutes from Williamsburg.

From the North, South or West: Take I-95 or I-295 to I-64 East to exit 214 (Providence Forge). At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right onto Route 155 South. Go 4 miles to stop light at Providence Forge. Turn left at light onto U.S. 60 East. Go approximately 5 miles and make a right onto Route 649 (Rockahock Road) Campground entrance is first road on right. From the East: Take I-64 West to exit 227. Turn left onto Route 30. Go to first stop light and make a right onto U.S. 60 heading West. Go approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto Route 649 (Rockahock Road) Campground entrance is first road on left.
