- 1131 Back Bay Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660, USA
California beaches are popular, so, naturally, RV Parks on the beach are expensive. But I was not prepared for the total and utter rip-off that this campground represents! Here is a list of complaints that I noted down during our one week stay ($110/night !!!):
site was occupied at arrival and security took 1/2 hour to arrive only to say that they don’t have computer access; had to find another site in the end
beaches are algae infested mud banks
dog pooh is everywhere
sports equipment rental is extortionate
sites are slanting so badly, you need 4 inches of blocks
sites are sand that clings to everything
sites are fenced, making you feel like in a cage
flight path is directly overhead with endless stream of planes in the morning
Saturdays evenings are so noisy you won’t be able to sleep
staff drive their golf carts at ridiculous speed, kicking up dust and debris
DO NOT STAY HERE!
