From Northern California: Take 1-5 South to the I-805 south Exit Telegraph Canyon Road. Travel East continuing straight on Telegraph Canyon Road, which becomes Otay Lakes Road. Follow Otay Lakes Rd to the preserve. From El Cajon/East County Also from Yuma: Take Interstate 8 west. Take 125 souths and Exit Spring St. (Stay in the Middle Lane). Then, Go left at The Spring St. light, Stay to the right to take the Hwy 94 East on-ramp. Follow Hwy 94 East into Rancho San Diego. Turn left at 3rd light ( Hwy 94 South towards Campo). Take Hwy. 94 South to Otay Lakes Road, turn right and follow about three miles to the preserve.
