While in Alaska plan to stay at this beautiful full service Tolsona Wilderness Campground. With each campsite beside the sparkling Tolsona creek, you will enjoy being surrounded by the wilderness. Your whole family can have fun hiking, fishing while experiencing the Alaskan wilderness and wildflowers. We are especially are proud of our resent additions, an active mud spring and the collection of 1920’s artifacts from a saw mill & logging camp. So for a scenic peaceful with a touch of Alaskan history, the place to stay is Tolsona Wilderness Campground.

A great base camp.

We planed to stay a couple of days, but stayed a week! A moderate rugged hike to the "Mud Volcanoe" is a must, but beware of the wild life! One of the few places in Alaska that I felt like I was in Alaska! We will stay here again.
