New campground hosts as of September 2011. New hosts (John & Martha) are outstanding and a pleasure!

RV Park is the best kept secret in southern New Mexico!!!

Beautiful campground! Lots of hiking trails in near vicinity.

RV spaces are pull-throughs and they are large and separated.

Deer and tons of humming birds within the RV Park (take your feeders)!

It's great and an easy drive from Las Cruces where we live!!!

We have been camping at the Circle Cross for the last 6 yrs. We make 2 to 4 trips a year, and stay for 3-4 days each time. The cool weather and relaxing environment is great. We hike Lincoln forest. The area excellent opportunities for photography of deer, elk, turkeys, flowers, and scenery. The New Mexico Magazine states that New Mexico has the most orchids of any state and they are found in the Lincoln forest. In the campground you may see deer, turkeys and hummingbirds we find the management to be friendly and accommodating

We have come up to this park for the past 5 years with two different RV groups that we belong to & have always enjoyed ourselves. The managers go out of their way to accomodate your needs & are very friendly. We enjoy the cooler weather. There is not much in the area for entertainment, but if you're into games, etc. there is a nice patio w/tables to play on. The RV sites are nice & large for all sizes of RV's. If you bring kids up, especially teenagers, they may get bored quickly. We will be back again next year!

Cross off the Circle Cross

Date:

September 15, 2010

We recently stayed at the Circle Cross RV Park and will not be going back. The park is in a beautiful area but there are other options in the area. I am not certain who owns this park but certainly they must not know how unfriendly and unaccommodating their hostess can be. My teenage son used the title Park Nazi for her. It is unfortunate because the park is nice but overall it is not worth it for our family. Perhaps we caught her on a bad weekend but if your title is Mgr or hostess you should behave as just that and be professional. So in light of our experience--I will be "Crossing" off this park.

Not a good experience!

We have a family reunion every year and we are always trying to find beautiful, unique spots to have them. This RV Park, unfortunately, was chosen this year. Don't get me wrong, it a beautiful place and if I were to rate it on how pretty it was, it would be five stars. I, however, am rating it on the level of comfort felt by the family and the willingness of the staff to accommodate to everyone's needs. First of all, we are a big family and usually 20-30 members show up every year (which the manager knew beforehand), this was a major problem for the manager. She informed us that there were too many of us and to feel free to leave as soon as possible. She was constantly wheeling around us on her little golf cart to come complain about something else. When I went to ask for the code to the bathroom, she refused to tell me. I told her I was here for the reunion and that we all had the same shirts on. She gave me the code, but was not happy about it. If you would like to get internet (which by the way you pay for) for more than five minutes, forget it because she switches it on and off so you cannot browse. Overall, along with the family members that stayed because most of them left early, I felt really uncomfortable. I felt like we were walking on egg shells all weekend. I was extremely disappointed and would suggest to the manager to back off because we felt smothered.
