good trip! 2nd stay

Date:

This was our 2nd visit to Narrows Too. The complaints that the campground is not on the water are not accurate. It IS on the water. It is not a beach (with sand, like many are used to). The sites that are waterfront are at the top of the rocks, the ocean is at the bottom.

There are other campgrounds that are closer to Bar Harbor, but the sites are smaller. For my money, I would rather stay a few minutes further away and have a little more space.

The office staff was always friendly to us in all of our dealings with them.

We have stayed there 2 times now, and I would definitely go back.

Take a Fire Fighters Word "Do NOT Stay HERE!ý - ý - Today
As a 21 year paid fire fighter/medic in Virginia and having RV'd all my life. owning 7 differant rigs my family and I have traveled the country from north to south, coast to coast and have never been so dissapointed in a campground. They advertise "Water Front Sites"..thats a total LIE!!!!!!! VERY small and tight sights are only made worse by the overgrowth of weeds and shrubs blocking your view of the bay. When the tide is out the smell is horrible. You can not boat or fish..NOT enough water for that.

To make matters worse. When one of my fire fighters had a family emergency and could not cover my shift on the last day of our vacation. I kindly asked for a day or partial refund since i was forced to return to work at the fire station 1 day early.

The ladies at the front desk told me there was a No Refund Policy. NO MATTER WHAT !!!!!!!....... I have stayed at thousands of camp ground and rv parks and have never been treated so badly. WE will NEVER return to the Narrows Campgrounds.. There is a nice KOA across the street with MUCH better views of the water and many other camp grounds closer to Bar Harbor to try...

Do yourself a favor...DONT Let the pictures fool YOU.....they Got ME!!!!! But NEVER again..

They are a HUGE Resort Company and act like it..They don't need ya...

more details call me I will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know to STAY AWAY from this Hell Hole
