Great for families!

I've been coming back for years. My kids have such great summers here and the staff is like family. Close to Lake Michigan with beaches and trails. All within walking distance. leave your car and get the bike out or your walking shoes. Great activities for the kids during holidays. Super pool and hot tub . Added bonus of some goofy guy in a rabbit costume running around.

Lots of amenities, poor service

This campground has lots of amenities, but you pay for it with lots of rules and restrictions that are subject to change at the owners' whim. Don't expect a relaxing environment. Beware of new pet rules too - they say that dogs are welcome but when we checked in we were told that the dog wouldn't be allowed inside the cabin with us. Plus, they changed the checkout time from 1pm to 11am. You have to wear a bracelet to get into the pool and the gate requires a unique code for every car. Plus, fires have to be out by 10:30 pm. With units stacked on top of each other, little public space and having to drive to anything in the area, I would not recommend this campground.
